Unni and I decided to go to Ezhupunna by train this time for a change. It was a different experience. We boarded the train in the morning from bangalore.I packed a lot of books to catch up on my reading. It was amusing watching different vendors parading coffee, tea and hot yummy snacks. More than a reading journey it turned out to be a food journey for the both of us.
The view was breathtaking. The monsoon season makes everything look more lively.I saw tall towering mountains with clouds whirling all around them, large stretches of paddy fields, cows , goats grazing leisurly...and the list goes on.

| The hunt is on |
I realised why my dad misses kerala and monsoon so much.Everything is green and relaxes your eyes.A break from all the concrete structures of day to day life.Amma, Unni and I had a fun time hunting for kittens in the backyard.Alas, their mom hid them well and ran away when we got close.

I attended a wedding, a pooja, some house visits and some temple visits and before we knew it, we were back on our way to bangalore.
Even though I hate traveling I am really looking forward to my next Kerala trip.
