Birthdays are such fun days. The only side effect of course is aging. But come to think of it, I feel like a kid again on my birthday. The excitement of getting gifts, people wishing you- and flooding your Facebook wall, the cake, the party hats, new dress. Just for a day the whole world seems to revolve around me and I love it.
My bro came over to my place on the weekend and we celebrated with a cake and late night movie accompanied by Chinese take away. I got a Fossil watch and a teddy from Unni. Abhi took me to a Lebanese restaurant for lunch on Sunday. It was amazing. They played old Arabic songs like habibi and abdul khader songs which brought back so much memory of the good old Abudhabi days. Plus the food was kind of like the Lebanese food you get in abudhabi. They can still improve though. Ambiance was lovely. All in all -a memorable meal.
We then headed off to Anoop chettan’s house in the evening for valagappu function of Raji. It was fun watching the antics of my niece Nivedha who was confused as to whether she is a malayali like her mom and granny or a tamilian like her dad. Hope she figures it out someday.
